In the recent decades, some Hong Kong people have purchased apartments and houses in the mainland side of the Great Bay Area. With the passage of time, these people are concerned about the success of these non-movable properties and other movable properties. In this seminar, the speakers will first talk about the wills making and the succession law in Hong Kong because the attendants are mostly Hong Kong people. Then, they will talk about the wills making and succession regulations and practice in the mainland cities of the Great Bay Area. They will also discuss the differences in succession between Hong Kong and the mainland.

Mr Godwin Ng

A barrister-at-Law in private practice for 20 years and a Certified Public Accountant for 40 years. His areas of practice include revenue law, land law, personal injuries, wills and succession. He holds degrees of LL. B. (London) and MBA (Wales/Manchester). 


Mr Vincent Chow

Mr. Chow is the holder of HKICPA (Practicing), FCCA (UK), CTA(HK), Master of Professional Accounting, LLM in Chinese and Comparative Law, Legal Practice Course (UK), LLB(UK), BBA. 

Mr. Chow has more than 25 years’ experience in financial control, internal control, corporate governance, statutory and operation audit, tax planning and legal compliance in Hong Kong and China.

Prior to forming his firm, Mr. Chow has served many years in New World China Limited and New World Infrastructure Limited (Water Team).  
       
Recently, Mr. Godwin Ng (Barrister- at- law) and Mr. Chow co-authored a new book, namely, 香港人在大灣區之遺產繼承一本通.
