About the Speakers: Mr Horace WAN, Senior Manager, Hong Kong Tax Controversy Services, PwC Hong Kong Horace has over 10 years of experience in providing tax consulting and compliance services to local, regional, multi-national and listed companies mainly in the e-commerce, travelling, real estate, hotel and retailing industries. Horace has ample experience in providing tax consulting services on corporate structuring as well as merger and acquisition. He is also experienced in assisting clients in handling profits tax challenges raised by the Inland Revenue Department (“IRD”), handling tax disputes with the IRD as well as assisting clients with tax planning and commercial substance build-up. Mr Felix TSANG, Senior Manager, Hong Kong Tax Controversy Services, PwC Hong Kong Felix has over 15 years of experience in tax consulting and in handling tax audit and investigation cases for multinational as well as local clients in different industries, including manufacturing, services and fund management, involving a diverse range of issues such as cross-border transactions, offshore claims, anti-avoidance and transfer pricing. Felix is also involved in various taxation and business advisory projects including tax health check, defence file building, post-audit restructuring, fund set up, mergers and acquisitions. Ms Chi Wing LAM, Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing, PwC Hong Kong Chi Wing specialises in transfer pricing and advising multinationals on cross border pricing matters from China and Hong Kong perspectives. She has extensive experience in transfer pricing planning, restructuring, implementation of structures and global coordinated documentation for multinationals in a wide spectrum of industries. She also assists multinationals in development of defence strategies and resolving tax disputes with China tax authorities. Mr Louis KWONG, Manager, China Tax and Business Advisory, PwC Hong Kong Louis has over 7 years of experience in PRC tax and regulatory consulting services, advising MNC clients in corporate restructuring, merger and acquisitions, conducting tax due diligence review and tax healthcheck for China investment. Louis has been involved in numerous M&A and restructuring projects in industries ranging from real estates, PE funds, consumer and industrial products, telecommunications to mobile entertainment. His experiences also includes advising and assisting in the execution of PRC tax reporting procedures for indirect acquisition of PRC equity and cross border mergers.
