The Consultation is expected to be closed in August 2014. Among the consultation proposals, there are various areas when current Recommended Best Practices (“RBP”) are proposed to be upgraded to Code Provision (“CP”) which needs to be complied or explained by issuers if they are not followed, for instance, the issuer should have an internal audit function. During the seminar, we shall share our views on the proposed new rules and cover the key features of the Consultation as shown below: - A brief about the latest HKEx consultation proposal. - What are the key changes being proposed? - Impact on the Board and Audit Committee. - What needs to be done? About the Speaker: Mr Ricky Cheng has over 17 years of experience in both external and internal auditing in commercial organizations and Big 4 accounting firms.
