However, the public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange is a complex and onerous exercise, requiring skilled teams of commercial, financial and legal expertise. This seminar will discuss the followings: (a) Overview of the IPO markets (b) Listing requirements (c) Regulatory expectation of an IPO candidate (d) Consideration for Reorganisation and Structure of an IPO Listing Group (e) Pre-IPO Investments (f) Common Accounting Issues (g) Internal control and financial reporting requirements About the Speakers: Mr Eric Tong, Partner, Audit, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Eric started his career with Deloitte in London and his professional experience includes the UK, Hong Kong SAR as well as Shanghai. He brings with him over 25 years of experience in auditing and advising international and local banks, fund management and securities companies as well as leading a number of IPO projects on Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland stock exchanges. In addition, he has been involved in a number of special audit assignments, due diligence and advisory projects and advises a number of clients on regulatory compliance matters. He is also a regular speaker on matters relating to financial services industry. Ms Fran Hung, Partner, Audit, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Fran has over 12 years working experience in the Audit Department and Technical Department of Deloitte China as well as a global financial institution. She possesses extensive knowledge of the accounting and financial reporting under IFRSs/HKFRSs and has actively been involved in dealing with Hong Kong IPO projects since 2005. She delivers seminars internally for Hong Kong and PRC offices, public listed companies and regulators and also speaks for seminars organised by various accounting associations in Hong Kong. Mr Ricky Wong, Senior Manager, Audit, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ricky has more than 11 years of financial audit experience with clients in manufacturing and consumer business sectors and has been involved in a number of IPO projects assisting enterprises getting listed in Hong Kong. Mr Billy Chung, Senior Manager, Audit, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Billy has more than 10 years of extensive audit experience with various listed companies engaged in mining, real estate and consumer business sectors in both Mainland China and Hong Kong and also participated in various Hong Kong IPO projects.
