About the seminar: The seminar, given by Professor Judy Tsui, Chair Professor of Accounting of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, will look at the cutting-edge corporate governance issues Hong Kong needs to address for it to build and sustain its future as an International Financial Centre. About the speaker: Prof. Judy Tsui is Vice President (International and Executive Education), Director of Graduate School of Business and Chair Professor of Accounting of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Before joining PolyU, she had been Chair Professor of Accounting and Head of Department of Accountancy of City University of Hong Kong. Prof. Tsui obtained her PhD in Accounting from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, being the first in Hong Kong to be awarded a PhD in Accounting. She has been appointed Honorary Professor of the University of Warwick in the UK and Visiting Scholar of the Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA. She also holds positions as Honorary Professor and Visiting Professor at several top mainland universities, including Renmin University of China. Prof. Tsui is a member of the University Grants Committee, the Research Grants Council, the Hong Kong Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation, and the Hospital Governing Committee of the Hong Kong West Cluster of Hospital Authority. She has been recently appointed as a member of the Nominating Committee of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), which is the global organization for the accountancy profession, and is an Independent Non-Executive Director of CLP Holdings Limited in Hong Kong and Consultant of China Vanke Co., Ltd in mainland China.

Acceptance will be on a first-come-first-served basis. 2) Successful enrolments will be confirmed by email. Unsuccessful applicants will be automatically placed on waiting list; they will be called up in the order of time of receipt of registration when vacancies arise. 3) Applicants may check their registration status using the same membership number of their professional affiliation when they register. Payment: 1) After receiving our Confirmation, you can either pay cash or cheque for admission at location. 2) If pay by cash, please present the Confirmation with your cash payment when you attend the seminar. 3) If pay by cheque, please make cheque payable to Accounting Development Foundation Limited. Write down your name and Enrolment ID number on the back of the cheque and submit it with the Confirmation when you attend the seminar.
Seat Accommodation: Please note that seats accommodation for accepted participants will be reserved until 15 minutes after the seminar starts. Seats may not be available for participants who are late for over 15 minutes. CPD Hours: For those participants who have not attended the full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted according to the actual time of attendance. Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended the full session. For the exact recognition of the CPD hours, please check with the respective Institute or Association.
