About the seminar: · Explaining different kinds of funding raising facilities and bank loans (from the role of an accountant) · Managing finance team, tax, legal and audit compliance for fund raising · Writing business plan for raising funds · Sharing experience in IPO exercises About the speakers: Mr. Wong Hin Wing, Simon, the President of Institute of Accountants Exchange (IAE), is also the committee member of the Corporate Finance Committee and Professional Accountants in Business Leadership Panel of the HKICPA. He is the founder, Chief Executive Officer and responsible officer of Legend Capital Partners, Inc., a licensed corporation under the Securities and Futures Ordinance since 1997 focusing on providing financial advisory and investment management services to enterprises in Hong Kong, China and Asia. Mr. Wong is also the vice president of the Federation of Alumni Associations of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Advisor and Treasurer of the HK Auxiliary Medical Service Officers Club, the Honorary Treasurer of the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Association and the Honorary Advisor of Hong Kong Accounting Professional Association. Mr. Ben Ho is currently working as a Regional Controller - Asia Pacific in Global Payments / HSBC. He has more than 15 years experiences in both audit and commercial field. He worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers and WPP – TNS (Fortune 500 companies). Mr. Ho has extensive financial and business exposures in Asia Pacific and Middle East Region. He is a fellow member of HKICPA and ACCA. He is actively involved in varies professional accounting bodies, he is also a Vice-President of Institute of Accountants Exchange (IAE) and Committee member of PAIB in HKICPA in 2011. He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with Honour Degree of Accountancy and achieved the MBA from the University of Hull in United Kingdom. Ms. Choi Yi Tak, Rosanna, the Immediate Past Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong, has been serving the global body for professional accountants as a Hong Kong Committee member since 2002. She has also been newly elected as one of the members of the ACCA Council, the representative and governing body of ACCA. Ms. Choi is a partner of CWCC CPA that has 7 offices and 170 staff. She looks after audit and advisory services. She chairs the firm’s Training Committee and IT Committee, enhancing staff skills and productivity, and the effective use of information technology. She is also an executive committee member of Social Venture Hong Kong, a council member of Hong Kong Baptist University, and a court member of the City University of Hong Kong.

Acceptance will be on a first-come-first-served basis. 2) Successful enrolments will be confirmed by email. Unsuccessful applicants will be automatically placed on waiting list; they will be called up in the order of time of receipt of registration when vacancies arise. 3) Applicants may check their registration status using the same membership number of their professional affiliation when they register. Payment: 1) After receiving our Confirmation, you can either pay cash or cheque for admission at location. 2) If pay by cash, please present the Confirmation with your cash payment when you attend the seminar. 3) If pay by cheque, please make cheque payable to Accounting Development Foundation Limited. Write down your name and Enrolment ID number on the back of the cheque and submit it with the Confirmation when you attend the seminar. Seat Accommodation: Please note that seats accommodation for accepted participants will be reserved until 15 minutes after the seminar starts. Seats may not be available for participants who are late for over 15 minutes. CPD Hours: For those participants who have not attended the full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted according to the actual time of attendance. Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended the full session. For the exact recognition of the CPD hours, please check with the respective Institute or Association.
