Wiley has more than 18 years of experience in the valuation of companies, intangible assets, and financial instruments in Hong Kong, China and overseas for various purposes including financial reporting, strategic or transaction evaluation, financing support and expert support for court submission.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Wiley was the Director and Head of the Business and Financial Instrument Valuation practice in a major international valuation firm and in valuation department in London and Hong Kong office with a Big Four firm in earlier years with multinational clients.

Wiley is the Course Director of the Business Valuation Programme of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). He is also a member of HKICPA, non-practising Member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), a non-practising Member of the China Appraisal Society (CAS), an individual member of Asia Pacific Institute of Experts (APIEx), a Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation holder issued by the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA), a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) by European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS), a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential holder issued by the IFRS Foundation. Wiley was also an advisor in Cyberport Professional Service Network service clinic and appeared as speaker for numerous associations and institutes on various topics from valuation to industry and business development.
