Mr Robert Lui
Robert Lui is a partner with Deloitte China, with a career spanning over 25 years. He currently serves as the firm’s HK Digital Asset Leader, HK Growth and Markets Leader, and Capital Market Services Group Southern Region Offering Services Leader.
Overseeing the firm’s digital asset program in HK, Robert collaborates with regulators and supports clients on projects like licensing applications, compliance review, audit & assurance, security token offerings, etc. Moreover, as an audit & assurance partner, he has led over 50 IPOs for companies listed on the HK Stock Exchange, while delivering audit & assurance, internal control, digitalization, and M&A services to listed companies and growth enterprises across various industries.
Robert has deep insights into society and industry development through his various government and professional appointments, such as Member of Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development of the HKSAR Government, Member of the Corporate Finance Committee at the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), Board Director of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, Chairman of the Hospital Governing Committee at Castle Peak Hospital & Siu Lam Hospital under the Hospital Authority, Council Member of the City University of Hong Kong, etc. He also served as Chairman of the HKICPA's Greater Bay Area Committee and Divisional President of Greater China at CPA Australia.
Robert’s professional qualifications include: Practising Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA); Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA) of CPA Australia; Senior Fellow (SFHKI) of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI).
