This seminar will introduce the audience to the requirements of a will. In this seminar, the speaker will use the court case Re Estate of Lim Por Yen (Cheung Ting Kau, Vincent v Koo Siu Ying and Ling Meng Chu, Pearl) HCAP4/2011 decided on 11 April 2025 to illustrate how wills may be challenged in court. Therefore, people who wish to write a will need to pay particular attention.
