Japan has also been the site of some of the 10 worst natural disasters of the 21st century. There are many types of natural disasters occur in Japan, including tsunamis, floods, typhoons, earthquakes, cyclones, and volcanic eruptions, etc. There is also prediction of a catastrophic disaster in Japan on 5 July 2025.
