Mr. Johnny CHAN is a senior lawyer providing bespoke legal services to both international and local clients on various areas including capital market, regulatory disciplinary actions (including investigations and inspections carried out by regulatory bodies such as SFC, London Metal Exchange, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, HK Insurance Authority, The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the Institution of Certified Public Accountants, etc.), complicated commercial disputes, AML and compliance related legal issues (including cybersecurity and internal control) and employment disputes.
Before setting up his own law firm, Mr Johnny Chan held senior positions in various international financial institutions, including Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of China Merchants Securities International, Senior Counsel at ABN AMRO Bank NV and Group Legal Counsel of CITIC Securities International (now CITIC CLSA).
